Can you further detail how the power cable was routed all the way from the hitch to the battery? Great doc and video!

There are different ways you can route the power wire for a trailer wiring harness, such as # 118566, on a 2013 Ford Escape. The easiest and most direct method is to run it under the vehicle, using wire ties to hold it to the frame or another wiring harness, up to the engine compartment and to the battery. You must avoid any hot or moving parts that can damage the wire.
