Troubleshooting A Slide-Out That Creeps Out While Travelling  

Question:

slid out keeps sliding out will not stay in while traveling. The unit travels out and closes no problem, but creeps out while traveling has a dewalt pump system 12 volt with hand pump is it the pump or the cylinder

I spoke with a Lippert technician and he said you'll need to do a hydraulic cylinder test to ensure you're not losing pressure. You may have a crack in one of the valves in the manifold causing this. In the attached pictures you'll see how to perform this test. If you find there is a leak you'll need to replace the defective part, if not please reply back so we can continue troubleshooting this issue. We don't currently carry any but there are slide-out lock bars that will keep the slide out in place and prevent creeping while towing down the road.
