Do Electric Trailer Brakes AKEBRK-35-SA Need to Mount to Correct Sides
Question:
Ive mounted akebrk-35-sa on the wrong sides, ok?

Expert Reply:
You do need to mount the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA on the correct sides, with the left hand assembly going on the driver side and the right hand assembly on the passenger side. Not doing so can significantly affect braking performance, with less stopping power, which can cause numerous different issues.
So you will want to change the assemblies to the correct sides, and I recommend using new mounting hardware, the Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.
