I would be happy to go over the dimensional differences between a 4.80/4.00-8 and 5.70-8 tire with you.

A 4.80-8 tire like the Kenda K371 Bias Trailer Tire - 4.80/4.00-8 - Load Range C # AM10004 measures in at 4.7" wide and 16.1" tall where a 5.70-8 tire like the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire - 5.70-8 - Load Range C # AM10012 measures in at 5.9" wide and 18" tall.

If you have the smaller 4.80/4.00-8 tire it may be possible to upgrade to the larger 5.70-8 tire but you will need to take a few measurements of your trailer to be sure. You will need to measure from the top of your current tire to the bottom of the fender, and from the inside edge of the tire to the trailer frame.

You will need to have at least 4" clearance at the top of the tire, and 1-3/4" clearance from the trailer frame for the larger 5.70-8 tire to fit with no issues.

Both of these tires fit a 8 x 3-3/4" wide wheel so there would be no need to replace your wheel.

I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
