Replacement for 826555 Idler Hub on Boat Trailer

Question:

I had a bot so local trailer repair shop help us during an out of town trip emergency. I then allowed them to replace the remaining hubs on my marine trailer. 6lug Hubs have these numbers: Hub1: 82655. Hub2: 71118 One has what looks like : “?” maybe an “N” then AEJ8ADE I’d like to get an assembly before I hit the road for a keys trip.

It sounds like you have 6K axle, if that's the case we do offer a hub that should work for you. Part # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K is an idler hub assembly for a 6K axle with a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. The hub uses a 25580 inner and 15123 outer bearing along with a GS2250DL grease seal.

To confirm that this is correct, please check the reference numbers on your inner and outer wheel bearings, or you can use a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to measure the surface of the spindle where the inner and outer bearing and grease seal ride. If this hub is compatible, the diameter of the spindle where the inner bearing rides should be about 1.75 inches, where the outer bearing rides should be 1.25 inches and where the grease seal rides should be 2.25 inches.

If that all checks out, the # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K would be the correct replacement hub. The hub includes the inner and outer bearing, the inner and outer races, the grease seal, dust cap and lug nuts. The hub is pre-greased and ready for use.
