Will Curt C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller Work on 43 Foot Diesel Pusher Class A Motorhome
Question:
Will this work on my 43’ 2020 Newmar Dutch Star Motorhome? Is that too far for connection to my phone? Towing a cargo trailer with 7pin.

A large motorhome with interior partitions is the one situation where a wireless brake controller won't work well for you. The partitions and distance involved would prevent a wireless controller like the Curt # C51180 Echo from being reliably effective. I'd recommend going with a traditional wired brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160.
From my research, I found that the 2020 Newmar Dutch Star could either be had on a Spartan or a Freightliner chassis. Both have a brake controller connector under the dash, for the Freightliner chassis you'd the # 3027-P harness. I spoke with both Curt and Tekonsha, and unfortunately neither offers a brake controller harness for the Spartan chassis. I'd recommend reaching out to Newmar, they should be able to assist further and point you in the right direction with regard to obtaining a harness for a Spartan Chassis.
