Bunk Mattress that Fits Area is 72 inches in Length

I am modifying a four-wheel pop up camper. The issue I am concerned about it that I have just over 72inch available for the mattress length. Would the 74inch mattress compress enough lengthwise to be crammed into that space without creating a problem? Width is no issue. Thanks

Compressing two inches might be a little too much for it to fit and feel right so for a slightly shorter option we have the # e27FR that is 73 inches instead which would be a more reasonable amount of compression.
