I reached out to my contact at Curt and was able to confirm that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11189 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-350 BlueTech as long as it is a wagon.
If your vehicle is a sedan you will need the # C11001 instead.
Both of these hitches are Class I hitches with a 200lb tongue weight rating and 2000lb rating which makes them perfect for carrying a bike rack, cargo carrier, or even light duty towing.
If you are planning on carrying a bike rack and do not already have one I recommend the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Steel # TH9058 as it works perfectly in Class I hitches where not all bike racks will, and allows you to carry two bikes weighing up to 37.5lbs each. You will also need Curt Stabilizing Strap # 18050 to stabilize the rack to keep from voiding the warranty of the hitch.
If you are planning on doing some light duty towing you will need to add a vehicle wiring harness # 119250KIT.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
