Trouble Locating Green Wire To Connect To 12 Gauge Blue Wire In Tekonsha 7-Way Harness

Looking to locate the connector where the green wire is located in the passenger wheel area. one connector to the rear of the wheel there isnt a green wire. Does the wheel need to removed and the liner completely removed to find this connector?

For the 12 gauge blue wire connection you will not have to remove the liner completely. You will only need to remove enough of the screws to allow you to be able to find the connector inside the fender well.
Many have trouble finding this connection and if you wish you can actually run the wire another way. The wire is simply the factory brake output. A simpler way of running the wire would be to run it into the vehicle and connect it to the blue wire on the brake controller harness.
On the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # TK22113 you will just need to run some additional 12 Gauge Wire # 12-1-1 into your cab and use a Butt Connector # DW05745-1 to connect it with the blue wire from the brake controller harness.
