Parts Needed to Install a Tekonsha P3 90195 on a 1995 Chevy Van
Question:
I have an older 1995 Chevy G20 van that had a 4 plug connection for a trailer. I installed a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter. It works all the lights on my Casita Trailer but now I need to install and connect the Prodigy 3. Is this something I can do? Some instructions sound involved and some simpler. Are there any special instructions for my setup? Also in case I need to have someone install, is there anyone you could recommend in the Dallas Fort Worth area? Thank You,

Having the 4 Flat and 7 Way already installed, you are very close to being finished. You will need a length of wiring ( # 10-2-1 ) as well as 40 amp ( # 9510 ) and 30 ( # 38630 ) circuit breakers. You will need a few other odds and ends like butt connectors and the like, but you are mostly there.
Unfortunately we do not have a list of installers, but I always tell people to check with an auto shop you have had good service from. They will typically give you the best price and do the best job.
That being said, this isn't actually that difficult of an install to finish. If you take a look at the video I included, you can see what all you need to do.
