Trailer Tire for a 2005 Aliner Classic Trailer with 165/80-16 Tires

What is the best tire to replace my ST165/80D13 tires?

A tire size of 165/80-13 is not a common trailer tire size. Check to see if it is actually a 175/80-13 or 185/80-13 because those are common sizes.

If you do have a 165/80-13 tire then it may actually be a passenger vehicle tire or light truck tire. The closest match is going to be a 175/80-13. It will be about 3/4 of an inch taller and 0.3 inches wider than a 165/80-13.

For a 175/80-13 if you need a bias ply tire use # AM1ST77. For a radial use # AM10210. You want to make sure you keep the construction of the tires the same on both sides.

These tires will fit on a 4-1/2 to a 5-1/2 inch wide wheel (measured from bead seat to bead seat). I have included a couple of links to trailer tire FAQs.
