Yes, we can help you put together a complete package to flat-tow your 2009 Jeep Wrangler. Please see links for each item below:
First you will need a base plate kit, I suggest the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, # 1429-3. This is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Jeep Wrangler. These are designed specifically for heavy-duty applications, direct-connect brackets install onto your Jeep Wrangler's frame to provide attachment points for a motor-home-mounted tow bar. The front arms are easily removable when not in use.
For needed tow bar, I suggest the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K, # RM-676. This aluminum tow bar is designed for use with MX, MS, and EZ5 base plates. It has LEDs that line the arms for maximum visibility with a large hookup radius and hassle-free latches that make it easy to connect and release. Needed safety cables and wiring are included. (Note the link to video of this installed on 2010 Jeep.)
You will need a few items for wiring, I recommend the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # HM56200 along with the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-88400.
My recommendation for supplemental braking is the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional, # SM99251. This too is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Jeep Wrangler. It is a proportional braking system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The DUO activates when your RV's brake lights go on and an inertia sensor in the towed vehicle detects deceleration. (Note the link to video of this installed on 2010 Jeep.) If your motorhome has air brakes, use # SM99243.
You have the option of leaving the tow bar attached to the motorhome while not in tow, if you choose to you may want cover it with the Roadmaster Tow Bar Cover, # RM-055-3.
And finally, you may/may not require the use of a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to a help article "HOW TO CHOOSE A HIGH-LOW ADAPTER" to assist you in making this determination. To flat tow your vehicle behind your RV the tow bar adapter is used to raise or lower the height of the tow bar to the "Safe Zone". The "Safe Zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3" above level to 3" below level. A tow bar adapter will provide the necessary rise/drop to get into the "Safe Zone". Discover this by measuring from the ground to the center of the base plate kit on your 2009 Jeep Wrangler and compare that to the measurement from the ground to the top of the inside edge of the hitch on your motorhome. If this distance is not within 3" of one another then you want to use a high-low adapter. Please note the link to a selection of adaptors attached.
Before flat towing your 2009 Jeep Wrangler, please check your vehicle owner's manual for suggestions and recommendations. Several product review and installation videos of the items discussed here have been linked. I hope they are of value to you and can provide the needed information. Please let us know what other assistance we can provide. Happy Camping.
