Removing Lower Panel of 2019 GMC Canyon to Install Curt Spectrum Brake Controller
Question:
I am trying to install the curt brake controller c51170. I see two screws at the bottom of the lower driver panel under the steering wheel, 2019 GMC. What do I do to remove the panel safely? Do you have a video showing this?

Thank you so much for your purchase from etrailer of the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170.
We appreciate that, and in order to remove the front panel, you literally just have to remove the screws and work the panel out to remove it. If you go to about the 10:10 mark of the video I linked below you can see how our installer did this. The video is on a Chevy Colorado but it will be the same for your truck.
