The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11496 measured in at 10" to the top of the receiver from the ground when we installed it on a 2013 Honda Accord sedan at our shop. Be aware that this height can vary slightly as suspension systems do tend to sag over time. I have linked a video below that will help you see where this is measured from as well as what is involved for the installation.

Also the hitch distance from the center of the pin hole to the rear of the bumper is 2". This will come in handy when you are trying to figure out your ball mount or hitch accessory that you plan to use.

If you do plan to tow or wish to install some Auxiliary Lights # C53201 onto your bike rack or cargo carrier, you will need a 4-way vehicle wiring harness. If your Accord sedan has LED taillights the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56173 will work for your application. Otherwise the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143165 will provide you with the correct wiring for incandescent tail lights.
