I need to buy the best towing mirrors I can get until the factory ones come in

There are two good options for your Silverado. The K-Source # KS80930 snap on mirrors offer the most "factory" custom look and give you an extra 3-1/2" of mirror extension. A much more economical choice is the CIPA # 7070-2 Universal Towing Mirrors that have rubber straps that connect to your existing mirrors. I use these on my Chevy Colorado when towing and then store away when not needed. Since you said this is only a stop-gap until a better mirror becomes available, I would go with the Universal. You will also be able to use these on other vehicles should you need them.
