Determining Correct Weight Distribution Hitch For Towing 16' T&B 320S Camper W/ 2017 Lexus RX 350
Question:
Hi I have a 2017 LEXUS RX350 F Sport. I have the aftermarket Curt HItch installed with the tow package module for the 7 pin connection all purchased from etrailer. I am towing a ~16ft T@B 320S with a hitch weight of 139 Gross weight of 2900 and Dry weight 1908. We usually drive with a full freshwater tank which is 19 gallons and empty grey water tank. I have spent a few hours watching your videos but cannot figure out all the weight numbers and systems compatibilities. What weight distribution system would work best for my setup? Thank you.

I would be happy to help you find the correct weight distribution hitch for towing your 16' T&B 320S with your 2017 Lexus RX 350 F Sport, but you will need to confirm the total tongue weight of your setup.
Total tongue weight is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your RX 350. The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement is with a tongue weight scale like the # e99044, but there are other methods shown in the included help article.
Since your tongue weight is typically 10-15% of the GVWR and your trailer has a GVWR of 2900lbs you should expect to see between 290-435lbs of tongue weight with the trailer fully loaded.
If your total tongue weight is below 450lbs the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 4,500 lbs GTW, 450 lbs TW # FA92-00-0450 would be a great option. This hitch does not include a hitch ball so will need a 2" hitch ball # 40038.
If you find your total tongue weight exceeds 450lbs then the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA92-00-0800 which works with total tongue weights between 400-800lbs. This hitch also does not include a hitch ball so you will need 2" hitch ball # A-90 to match the coupler on your trailer.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
