Can Hardware for Curt C13382 Hitch Be Substituted So Frame Access Hole Doesn't Need Enlarging
Question:
Can I purchase narrower bolts and spacers that will go into the frame holes without enlarging them? Other hitches on the compatibility list allow for them to go in without enlargement of the holes.

I don't recommend changing the hardware or installing the Curt # C13382 in any other manner than what's shown in the instructions. Swapping out the bolts for ones with a smaller head could affect the strength of the installation.
The easiest way to enlarge that hole would be to use a Dremel or similar tool to cut a notch in the side of one of the access holes, just large enough so that the hardware can be fished into the frame member. I've had to do this before, and honestly, it's not difficult at all. Just use a shot of spray paint to cover any bare metal as shown in the linked video. The Draw-Tite # 76209 Class III doesn't call for the holes to be notched because they use different hardware that we don't sell separately as individual parts.
