Question:
I have a tyre that we use on a trolley to move ceramic rollers into our furnace to replace these rollers. We have been useing this tyre for awhile and now we have been experiencing problems with the tyres coming off the rims, the tube tearing, the valve popping out. I am not sure of the history of this issue as I only started her recently. The tyre marking show the following:4.8/4.00-8 underneath that tehre is : J - 309 -07 Could you assist me ?

Thank you for providing the photo of your tire. My contact at Kenda told me that this appears to be a wheel barrow tire. I explained that you are using the tire in an industrial application and he indicated that as long as the new tire will not be exposed to excessive heat, and is used within its specified inflation/weight rating, that one of their trailer tires should be a suitable replacement.
We offer replacement trailer tires as both tire-only and tire-with-wheel in this size, 4.80/4.00-8. We also have this tire size available in different weight load ranges and with both 4-on-4 and 5-on-4-1/2 inch wheel bolt patterns if ordered as a tire-with-wheel combination.
If you need only the tire itself, we offer a Load Range B tire, part # AM10002, which is the part you reviewed. This tire is rated for a maximum load of 590 lbs at 60 psi pressure. We also offer a Load Range C tire, part # AM10004, which is rated for a maximum load of 760 lbs at 90 psi pressure.
If you prefer a pre-mounted tire-with-wheel you can choose either a 4-on-4 or 5-on-4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern. I have provided an article that explains how to determine which bolt pattern your wheel uses.
I have included a link to the product page for all 4-on-4 tire-with-wheel combinations. You can select either a painted or galvanized steel wheel with either Load Range B or C tire.
I have also provided a link to our page for 5-on-4-1/2 tire-with-wheel combinations. You can again select from a painted or galvanized steel wheel with either Load Range B or C tire pre-mounted to the wheel.
