Recommended Shank For Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch EQ37101ET

Question:

I bought the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control - No Shank - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW and used it with an existing 9in shank on on old tow vehicle. I just bought a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and need a new shank because the one I use is close to the ground and sometimes scrapes. Both the trailer hitch and the truck receiver are even to each other at 22inch when level. Which shank should I use for this new configuration? The truck receiver can do 2inch or 2.5.

For the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control - No Shank - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37101ET you have you can use the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 7" Rise, 3" Drop # EQ90-02-4700 which will fit directly into the 2-1/2" receiver on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD, or the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 6-1/2" Rise, 4" Drop - 1,200 lbs TW # FA92-02-4100 with a reducer like the # BWRHXA2182. Either option will give you the additional ground clearance you are looking for to keep the shank from scraping on the ground.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
