Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2003 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage Motorhome
Question:
The Motorhome had a 10,000 lb receiver installed from the factory. It had been removed and a Hydralift installed. I took the hydralift off and need a 10000lb receiver installed. I see you have the draw-tite bolt or weld on hitches. What would be the recomendation ? Spartan said they did not know what original was on it because they said the frame builder installs the hitch.

Since there is not a custom fit trailer hitch receiver available for our 2003 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage built on the Spartan Chassis I recommend having a local fabricator install the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07 or # 41990-16 depending on the distance between the frame rails and the bottom of your rear bumper.
The # 41990-07 has 7" tall mounting brackets where the # 41990-16 has 16" tall mounting brackets. These hitches are a universal fit so there will be some fitment require to install, and I recommend having a local welder weld them on to make sure they are secure.
Both hitches have a 1600lb tongue weight rating and 16000lb trailer weight rating, though you will be limited to the lowest rated component between the trailer hitch receiver and your motorhome, so I recommend checking in your owner's manual to find its towing capacity.
I included a video of the # 41990-16 for you to take a look at.
