Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying Bike Rack and Cargo Carrier W/ 2017 Chevy Traverse
Question:
Hello, I need a hitch for just my bike rack or cargo carrier. Of the Draw-Tite, etrailer or Curt offerings for the 2017 Traverse, would you recommend one more than the others? Thank you.

Out of all of the trailer hitch receivers available for your 2017 Chevrolet Traverse LT I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75528 as it has the highest tongue weight rating at 750lbs making it a perfect option for carrying a bike rack or cargo carrier.
If you do not already have a bike rack or cargo carrier I recommend taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR which can accommodate 4 bikes weighing up to 35lbs each, and the 60x24 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Folding and tilting - 500 lbs # e98874 as it is light weight at 49lbs, and has a 500lb load capacity.
I included videos of each of the products mentioned being installed on a Chevrolet Traverse for you to take a look at.
