Which Base Plate Kit For 2003 Jeep Wrangler is Compatible With Curt Tow Bar?

I have a Curt tow bar and want to know if the clevis will fit the Roadmaster base plate. The Curt tow bar clevis is setup for 1/2 by 2inch long. I cannot find any dimensions on roadmaster parts. Thanks for your help.

I may have an option for you, but the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit # RM-521424-5 is not compatible with any Curt tow bars and there are no adapters to make the connection. The Roadmaster baseplate kits use a different design of attachment that is quite a bit different than the Curt tow bars.

If the Curt tow bar you have is the Curt Rambler # C26FR you will be able to use Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # BX1120 which is confirmed to fit your 2003 Jeep Wrangler.

If the Curt tow bar you have is the Curt Tow Bar with Adjustable-Width Arms - Car Mount - 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs # C19745 then there is not a compatible base plate kit available as it is designed to attach directly to the metal bumper on the towed vehicle which will likely require modification.

If you can confirm which tow bar you have I would be happy to go over everything you will need to complete your flat towing setup.
