I would be happy to recommend everything you will need to flat tow your 2013 GMC Yukon XL 1500 behind your motorhome.

Starting with the base plate kit I recommend the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 3154-1 which has removeable arms that can be taken off when you are done flat towing to help the kit blend in with the front of your vehicle better.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-576 which has a 8000lb capacity which is plenty for your Yukon, and the non-binding arms will allow you to quickly and easily unhook your towed vehicle even on un-even ground. The # RM-576 includes safety cables, a 7-way to 6-way cord, and a 6-way connector so you will not need to purchase them separately.

To complete your tow bar wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 which uses diodes to protect your factory wiring from any back feed or damage.

Moving on to a supplemental braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR due to its easy install compared to other systems, and since it is completely removed from your Yukon when you are done flat towing you can easily use it in a different tow vehicle in the future if needed.

Lastly you may need a high-low adapter to level your tow bar to your tow vehicle so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.

I recommend checking the recreational towing section of your vehicles owner's manual for any flat towing restrictions or special steps required to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed.

I included videos for the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
