With The Swagman Cable Lock S64031 Work With The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack HR4000
Question:
Hi - I just installed a hitch on my wifes Subaru Forester e98839 and it works great. I put a Hollywood Racks HR4000 on it and that works great as well. I have a Swagman XC2 that I plan on putting on my Chevy Bolt after I install the Draw Tite hitch for it. I was planning on getting a Swagman anti rattle hitch plus lock S64031. Would it be possible to use the cable from the S64031 on the HR4000 if I wanted to? The HR4000 came with a locking hitch pin, but no cable so wondering if I would be able to use the cables interchangeably. Thanks!

The cable lock that comes in the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks # S64031 will work just fine on your Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HR4000. The cable is 7 feet long and will be a great addition to your setup which will keep your bikes safe and secured to the bike rack. I have attached a demonstration video for the lock and cable kit. At approximately 12:32 into the video you will see a demonstration / installation of the cable lock.
