Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2009 Chevy Traverse
Question:
I need a heavy duty tow hitch for a 2009 Chevy Traverse LT. I looked up 2 seperate numbers. Could you give me your choice please? I will be towing a 23 trailer with a 212 seahunt ultra 211 boat. Look forward to hearing back from you. Thx

There is one option for a trailer hitch that stands out for your 2009 Chevy Traverse, since you mentioned wanting a heavy-duty hitch, and that is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528.
This hitch has the most robust capacity of 750 lbs tongue weight along with 5,000 lb towing, which is a testament to its strength. It will also be a smooth installation on your '09 Traverse without any type of drilling into your frame required. I have added a link below to a video installation for you to check out as well of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528.
Since you mentioned you would be using the hitch for towing, if you also need a wiring harness for your 2009 Chevy Traverse, the correct one will depend on if you have the factory tow package or not:
- WITHOUT Factory Tow Package: T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118450
- WITH Factory Tow Package: T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118384
