I ordered the wireless curt echo brake controller from Amazon and Im missing the security strap

You must have received an older version. The # C51180 Curt Echo we offer is the latest model which offers the security strap (as shown in the linked product description). Curt doesn't offer the strap as an individually available item, as the attachment points are molded into the body of the controller.

Luckily, Amazon is pretty good about returns, so you could return the one you have and purchase a replacement from us.
