Trailer Hitch Receiver for Motorhome on 2017 Ford Transit 3500HD Chassis
Question:
I have a 2019 Forester 2381 motor home built on 2017 Transit 3500HD. The bolt spacing on the rear frame are: 35 1/2 wide x 7” apart. Can you supply a hitch for the measurements?

Thanks for those measurements, and there is a hitch you can use for your motorhome on a 2017 Ford Transit 3500HD, but there are no custom bolt-on options for this chassis. So what that means is you'll need to use a universal hitch and drill additional holes into the frame in order to mount the hitch. Since you mentioned your frame was 35-1/2 inches wide, you can use the following hitch:
- Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch # 5350
This is designed for motorhome frames that are between 24 inches and 46 inches wide, so it will work for your motorhome. I have added links below to a video review as well as the instructions for you to check out as well if you'd like.
