Best Bike Rack That Wont Cover Backup Camera On 2018 Buick Enclave
Question:
I have a 2018 Buick Enclave. I want a bike rack that wont block the rear backup camera. Would the Kuat Transfer 2 fill the bill for me? I realize that with bikes on it will be blocked. I am wondering about when there are no bikes on it. Please advise.

I have some bike rack suggestions for you, but the Kuat Transfer is being phased out by Kuat. If you're getting a new bike rack, this is your chance to get something new and better.
To figure out backup camera clearance, it depends on where your backup camera is. From what I know of your 2018 Buick Enclave, the camera is located above your license plate towards the right. What you need is either a bike rack that is short enough to not reach the cam when folded up, thin/spacious enough to not make as much a difference when folded up, or choose not to fold up your bike.
The best one I can think will fit your vehicle is the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Rack # HLY94FR. This is a very short bike rack, so you might get away with folding it up and it not reaching your camera. It does not come with a cable lock, but you can pick up the anti-rattle lock and cable lock set # HRLHPTC. My video review of it is linked down below where I give some measurements that might help you with measuring where it will sit on your vehicle.
If you want more features like tilt-away or integrated locks, then the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # TH83JV is a popular bike rack for those worried about their backup camera. This bike rack has a more spacious design similar to the Kuat Transfer, so you have more room for your backup camera when the rack is folded up.
Both are great bike racks, but if I had to choose, I prefer the Thule # TH83JV since it has all the nice extra features like locks and an easy lever to fold up the rack.
