Platform Bike Rack that Allows Tailgate Clearance When Folded Down
Question:
With my tailgate down, I have about 10 1/4 inches down to the center of the hitch pin. Will this rack allow me to open the tailgate with the center mast folded down?

I have a solution for you, but since the Hollywood Racks Destination bike rack # HLY94FR has a 9 inch rise built into it there wouldn't be clearance to fold down your tailgate. Instead we have the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z which has only 5 inches of rise and would work well for tailgate clearance when the mast is folded down.
