Is Play Normal With Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy
Question:
demco adapter plate 6333. easy to install my reese 16,ooo lb. hitch fits when i hook the trailer up when you go in reverse it bang, or rattles a little is it the norm.

There is going to be a small amount of play with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6333 but not so much that there should be an audible banging.
What Demco has told us about this in the past is that the solution can be adjusting the amount of the washer shims used to get the best fit. You can add or remove them as necessary and it doesn't have to be an equal amount so long as you get a snug fit.
