Can 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way on Vehicle be Activated

Ona 2018 79 series landcruiser the black wire on the trailer wiring should it be live because mine isn’t I need it to run the esc on jaycocaravan

The black wire/12 volt accessory circuit of trailer wiring isn't always active as not every trailer needs this circuit and since it's always active it can potentially short easier. So on your vehicle you can activate it pretty easily by running 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot from the vehicle's positive battery post through a breaker like the # 9510.
