Can Spring Bars of Curt C17062 Weight Distribution System Be Upgraded to Higher Capacity
Question:
I have the C17062 1000lb tw, 10000 round bar weight system. My bars are not as stiff as they once were. I wanted to upgrade to the 14k, 1000k to 1400k tw bars C17074 . Will these fit my head?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The weight distribution head used on the # C17062 system is rated up to 1500lbs of tongue weight, so you certainly could use two of the #C17074 1400 lb rated replacement spring bars for trailers with a 1000-1400 fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight. The bars are sold individually, so you'll need two of them.
