Recommended Wiring to Install Brake Controller to 2020 Ford Transit

Question:

Hi Etrailer. Have spent more than an hour searching and watching the wrong videos. Hope you can help me link to the right information. Do you have part recommendations and video showing installation of Prodigy P3 which I already own to 2020 Transit WITH factory installed Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package this package includes factory installed tow/haul mode, 4/7 pin connector at the rear, and frame mounted hitch. I havent bought it yet but have to get this figured out before I purchase the van. So I cant go looking behind panels for where the blue wire is. Thank you. I appreciate your helping focus in on the solution.

The 2019 Transit does not have a factory tow package so the changes made have been aftermarket as you can definitely tell from the 4 way to 7 way trailer connector. You will then need to hardwire your Prodigy P3 # 90195 using kit # 5506 which will connect to your 7-way and battery using the correct circuit breakers. If there is a blue wire connected at the 7-way you will need to trace it as there isn't a factory location to point you to.
