Does the Curt C11391 Hitch for 2016 Acura ILX Come with Installation Hardware
Question:
Hello I am interested in purchasing your trailer hitch for our Acura ILX. Does the hitch include all the necessary pieces to install? Asides from the tools. Im under the assumption I will be needing the trailer wiring as well correct? Thank you

Trailer hitches like the Curt # C11391 come with the mounting hardware needed to install the hitch on your 2016 Acura ILX, so yes, as long as you've got the tools you'll get everything you need to get the hitch on the vehicle.
A wiring harness is not included with the hitch, so I recommend using the Tekonsha # 118627 because of the reliability of the Tekonsha harnesses. This is a plug and play harness, so the installation is very easy and because it utilizes a powered converter box your vehicle's electrical system will always be protected in the event of a short on the trailer.
To complete your towing setup you'll also need a ball mount and a hitch ball. For the ball mount you can use something like the Curt Class II Drawbar - 2-5/8" Rise, 3-1/4" Drop - 7-1/4" Long - 3,500 lbs # C45521; if you'll be towing a specific trailer you can measure to determine the rise/drop you'll need to tow your trailer level. I've linked a short help article on how to properly measure for that. You'll also need a hitch pin and clip # F-4 and a hitch ball- either 1-7/8" # A-80 or 2" # A-82.
In addition to the article that explains how to measure for the correct rise/drop ball mount, I've also linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to check out.
