Is Cutting a Hole In the Bumper Required for the EcoHitch Stealth Hitch On a 2020 Tesla Model 3
Question:
this part # says that drilling and cutting is necessary. In what steps is that needed? The 2020 Tesla model 3 has a cut out already molded into the bottom fascia that has a removeable cover. Is it necessary to modify that cutout that is already in the stock fascia? If thats that cutting portion, were do you have to drill anywhere on the car? I just want to make sure what Im getting into.

The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH84GR is an excellent option for a 2020 Tesla Model 3. The newer models has a hitch knockout panel under the rear bumper which is where the receiver tube will exit so no cutting or drilling will be required for this step. The older models did not have this knockout panel which is where the note is from.
