How Should I Wire a LED Light I want to Add to my Camper
Question:
Want to add a led light rand the ground to the metal frame and attached the black wire to the existing 12v light and here is the problem ...... the new light only turns on when the existing light is shut off ??

The Optronics LED RV Interior Double Dome Light with Switch part # RVILL34 as you said only requires two connections. White going to ground and black to power. I would switch my power wire connection to where it is connected after the switch on the existing light.
This will ensure that both lights get power at the same time rather than them getting it separately.
