Tire Chain Recommendation for 2018 Toyota Camry with Tire Size 235/45-18
Question:
My 2018 Camry Operators manual states*: Tire chains cannot be mounted on vehicles with 18 and 19-inch tires. I Have 235/45/18 tires. Do I have any options? or will these chains still fit but void liability for Toyota? I recently moved into an area with a mandate for chains during the winter months.

We have great options that will work great for your tire size of 235/45-18 but what you are going to need to do is contact a Toyota dealer in the area you are in now and ask what they suggest for tire chains as they'll have a solution. The best option in terms of clearance that fits your tire size is the part # TH02230K34 which does not drape over the inner sidewall of the tire at all so clearance issues are basically non-existent. I'd show them these and see what they say. Most likely they'll think these are a great solution.
