Easy to Use Tire Chains for 235/60-17 Tires on 2015 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Can you recommend a set of tire chains for my 2015 Toyota Sienna? We lost our set of Thule XB-16s which we liked, although they were a bit loose. Ease of installation is important and well be using them in real snow for sure. Tire size P235/60R17. Thank you.

In the owner's manual, Toyota mentions that Class S chains should be used so you'll have proper clearance to the wheel well as well as to the inside of the tire.
We offer a few Class S chains that are compatible with your 235/60-17 tire size, butI really like the Pewag Snox, part # PWSXV580. The chains are easy to install and will self tension as you drive away. The square link chains do a great job of biting into the snow and ice for sure-footed traction and the diamond pattern offers great lateral stability because the chain is always in contact with the ground. The chains even provide plastic bumpers to help protect your wheels from getting scratched. A reusable storage container is also provided.
I've linked to an install video showing these chains being installed on a similar vehicle. It's a good idea to become proficient in installing and removing the chains in the safety and comfort of your garage or driveway so if you find yourself on the side of a snow covered road you'll be able to install the chains quickly.
