Wire Functions of Optronics LED Tail Light STL37RB and STL36RB
Question:
The wiring on the trailer on driver side has a red wire and a black wire, The replacement light fixture has a Brown and yellow Which wires should be mated for for correct use?

The replacement light I believe you are talking about is the LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - Driver Side # STL37RB.
The brown wire for this light is the tail lights, while the yellow wire is for stop and turn lights. It also has a white wire, which is of course for ground. You will need to match those up to the functions of your trailer's red and black wires; the easiest way to do this is plug in the trailer to the vehicle, have someone activate the functions and you can find which is getting voltage with Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979
You mentioned the driver side but to be thorough, if you ever need the passenger side that is the LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - Passenger # STL36RB.
On light, the brown is the tail lights, the green is the stop and turn signal, and the white is again the ground. You can connect these lights to your trailer wiring with Butt Connectors # 05731-5.
