Anti-Rattle for TowSmart Towing Starter Kit for 2 Inch Hitches
Question:
Given the shank on this ball hitch mount has the grooves X mount and curved edges, does it tend to move around more inside the hitch when towing causing it to rattle? If so what anti-rattle device do you offer?

Expert Reply:
The TowSmart kit is not going to have additional rattle due to it's shape, but without an anti-rattle device, all ball mounts are going to be subject to some movement and noise. Due to that, I do recommend adding an accessory to limit the rattling of the TowSmart Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches # TS64FR.
The perfect option for this is the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches # e99007.
It's a simple clamp-on device that tightens the shank in your hitch to minimize any type of play or movement, so there isn't going to be the annoying rattling and movement that would occur otherwise.
