From the information you have given me, if I am correct your current axle should be 89" long when measured from hub face to hub face and from one spring center to the other is 74". To up grade to a 3500 lb axle without modification you need Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with EZ-Lube Spindles - 89" Long - 3,500 lbs Item # T3584F-EZ-8974. All measurements are going to be the same and should not require any modification.

Going up in size will require a U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts Item # APUBR-1.
