How Does The Transmitter Get It's Power On The Custer 23" Wireless LED Light Bar
Question:
How does the transmitter get its power? It says 4r radio powered and I believe that it means it has its own internal battery. If so, how long do they last typical with regular usage 10 hrs per day Can the internal battery be replaced? Also, this says its a 7 round. Is there an option to choose 7 round heavy duty, vs 7 round blade? Thanks

The transmitter for the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light - Weatherproof - Magnetic Base - 23" Long - 7-Way Round Item # LIW-LDTL-7B gets it's power through the 7 Pole plug on the back of the RV. When the RV has power at the plug and the 7 pole is plugged in, the transmitter sends the signal to the light. The light has a 3AH battery which can be replaced. There is a panel on the bottom of the light to access the battery. A charge typically last about 6-8 hours. Keep in mind it is recommended to recharge the light at the end of each day of use. In order to switch the 7 round blade style plug to a 7 round heavy plug, it would have to made to order through the manufacturer because the 7 round heavy duty functions a little different and the color of the lights will be different.
