Are Trailer Brakes Supposed to Activate all At Same Time
Question:
Can you hook up the electric brakes to come on at same time? Instead of one at time. I was thinking of using a bus bar on camper and wiring it straight to each brake and tying it into 7 pin connector the brake wire. When I put on brakes on truck they would come on the same time. What do y’all think of this or tell me why this is not a good idea. Thanks

When trailer brakes are wired up properly they all activate at the exact time so that you have maximum braking power and efficiency. If they all came on at different times that would not be ideal at all.
I attached a diagram that shows how tandem brake axles are normally wired up.
