Compatible Parts to Convert Lippert 7K Axle to Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes

Question:

I have attached a picture of my axle information. I wanted to convert over to disk brakes and was planning on using the following parts: 42865-kit k2r712DAC HS496-252 T4813100 and just wanted to check compatibility before ordering.

Your Lippert 7K axle would use a 25580 inner and an 14125A outer bearing, so the # 42865-KIT hub you'd looked at would be compatible. The Kodiak # K2R712DAC slip-on disc brake kit is compatible with the 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern used by the hubs you'd chosen and the 5 bolt caliper mount is compatible with the bolt pattern on the brake mounting flange on your axle. The # HS496-252 brake line kit looks to be a good choice.

The Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4813102 actuator you'd looked at would work for you, but we prefer the Hydrastar # HBA16 because it's American made, has a better warranty and in our experience, it has proven more reliable over time.

You'll also need a brake controller that's compatible with electric over hydraulic braking systems, if you don't already have one. I really like the Tekonsha P3, part # 90195 because of its intuitive controls and easy to understand display.

I've linked to some installation and demonstration videos for the parts mentioned above.
