Lock for Thule Trailway and Hitching Post Pro
Question:
Greetings, I have a 2inch curt hitch and a thule trailway 2 bike rack- it looks like the thule trailway 2 rack requires a 1/2inch diameter pin for a hitch lock most 2inch hitch locks are 5/8inch diameter that I am coming across. The reviews on the Thule hitch lock are poor, and I was wondering if this particular hitch would be compatible? Thanks!

I have a solution for you but the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98879 will not work with your Thule Trailway/Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. The built in anti rattle device causes the issue for a standard pin to not work with this rack properly. The Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock # THSTL2 is a good way to keep your bike rack secure. We have received a lot of good feedback for this and the only issue we have run into testing this out is the cover over the lock core can be broken from extended use but the lock still held up.
