Troubleshooting Optronics LED RV Interior Double Dome Light

Question:

I purchased several items and most are all working well. One item isnt for some reason. Optronics LED RV Interior Double Dome Light with Switch - 815 Lumens - White Housing - Clear Lens I checked to make sure it functions before install, it did. After running wires, installing walls and mounting light, its not working. It will not light up when switched on. I checked with a Multi-meter and it IS getting 12v juice, it just isnt turning on. What could the problem be? Can it be fixed? Should it be replaced? Everything looks fine. The wires look connected as they should be under the switch as well. Thank you

Optronics LED RV Interior Double Dome Light with Switch - 815 Lumens - White Housing - Clear Lens # RVILL34 since it is getting power could have a couple issues. The first thing to check is the ground wire connection to make sure you have a good bare metal to metal connection. Often the issue when you are getting power is a bad ground location.

If the ground wire doesn't solve your issue then I'd check your switch as the switch may be the issue. Unfortunately there are not replacement parts for this unit so if it is the switch or the LED circuit boards then you would need to replace the unit.
