Which Hitch for 2020 Subaru Outback Offers Best Ground Clearance
Question:
Just purchased a 2020 Subaru outback touring what hitch should I go with, Curt or draw tight . The draw tight looks to be an easier install but am I sacrificing ground clearance ?? It looks lower nothing said about it in description . There is a ruler on the etrailer?? for Hight not on draw tight

If ground clearance is the primary concern then the best option for a 2020 Subaru Outback (All Models) is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C67JR because the receiver tube will be tucked up under the rear bumper therefore provides the best ground clearance. This option when compared to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT73RR will take more time to install yes but, it also has a more hidden design which provides a cleaner finished install look. I recommend the Curt hitch as you only have to install a hitch once whereas you would have to look at it and deal with reduced ground clearance for the life of the vehicle/hitch.
In regards to exact measurements, this is something we take here in house and these are only available when we have psychically installed said hitch on the vehicle. If there is not a video then we do not have these measurements yet.
