How to Use 1-1/4 Thule T2 Pro Bike Rack with 2 Receiver on 2020 Lincoln Corsair
Question:
Hello, I have a 2020 AWD Lincoln Corsair Standard Im looking for a trailer hitch for my Thule T2 Pro 9035XT bike rack. I need a 1 1/4inch receiver. The one I found on your site for a Lincoln Corsair says it is a 2inch receiver. Appreciate some guidance, thank you!!

The Curt Trailer Hitch # C23FR is an excellent option for your 2020 Lincoln Corsair. While you can technically use a hitch reducer like the Brophy # HT02 to fit your T2 Pro 9035XT to this rack, when we've asked Thule about adapters in the past their stance is that if it isn't something that they make then it will void the warranty of the bike rack. If you decide to use the reducer then I also recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232 to help secure the bike rack and reduce play.
If you'd like to stay within the limits of the warranty and you really like the T2 Pro then you'll need to get the new T2 Pro XTR version for a 2" receiver # TH83JV as Thule doesn't have a way to replace the main body of the bike rack so that you have a 2" shank.
Another option that you might be interested in is the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA12B which is very similar to the T2 Pro, except that you can use the adapter # D101 from Kuat to use this with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers. I have attached review videos of the NV 2.0 Base and the T2 Pro for you to check out.
