Towing a Trailer with a 5-Way Connector with a Vehicle with a 6-Way Connector
Question:
I use my RV to tow different vehicles. I have a 6 way round on my RV and my boat trailer has a 5 flat. What is the easiest way to connect the two

I recommend replacing the boat trailer's 5-way with a 6-way because there aren't any adapters between those two
Cut the 5-way off as close to the connector as you can and install part # PK11604 onto the wires. It'll plug right in to your 6-way on your RV.
If you sometimes tow the boat with a different vehicle and need to keep its 5-way then you can add a 6-way and have two connectors on it. Use a junction box from the kit # HS381-9000 with part # H20036. You'll need to connect the 5-way and 6-way to the junction box terminals together.
