After Installing Hitch on 2019 GMC Acadia, Can the Access Panel in the Fascia be Replaced?
Question:
Once fascia door has been trimmed correctly, is the hitch completely masked from the rear? From your diagram in other questions, it appears the trimming is only on the bottom of the fascia door, correct? Thanks!

After installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 76023, the rear fascia has an access panel that was removed from the vehicle. Part of the receiver tube is still visible. If you want a cleaner oem look, I suggest cutting a square in that panel to only leave the tube exposed and putting the panel back in place.
If your vehicle doesn't have a factory tow package, you need # 118720. This kit powers your trailer lights. This Tekonsha T-Connector harness is very easy to install and the unit is easy to secure under the rear of the vehicle.
If you haven't already purchased a ball mount, I highly recommend # 989900. This kit offers variable drop/rises, two different ball sizes for different trailers you own, two hitch pins, and has a carry bag for when your ball mounts are not on the vehicle.
